Fallout Records: Immortalized

When I first moved to Seattle back in school, Fallout Records was the ultimate. It was killer, man. It was the epitome of what the movies try to create when they want the cool, independent record store with the misunderstood loner who knows like every track in the store. When they went under and closed their doors, it was an eye-opening experience for me as far as the struggle of the independents in the big box world.

The fact that one of my favorite businesses ever is selling the Fallout t-shirt, and giving a percentage back to the old owners, has to be one of the coolest things I've seen in this big, ugly world in a long time.
